Job Summary

The HR Head provides strategic leadership to align human capital initiatives with Wepsol’s business objectives. This role focuses on talent growth, employee engagement, and operational excellence within the IT peripherals sector, while building a high-performance culture and ensuring compliance with applicable labor laws.

Key Responsibilities

  • Strategic HR Leadership: Develop and implement HR strategies and initiatives that are directly aligned with the overall business goals and objectives.
  • Talent Management and Acquisition: Oversee the entire recruitment and selection process to attract and retain high-potential, diverse talent. This includes workforce planning, talent development, and succession planning strategies.
  • Compensation and Benefits: Administer and monitor competitive pay plans and benefits programs, ensuring they are cost-efficient and attractive to top talent.
  • Employee Relations and Compliance: Bridge management and employee relations by addressing grievances and other issues, while ensuring full compliance with all local, state, and Indian labor laws and regulations.
  • Learning and Development: Assess training needs and implement effective training and development programs to build employee competencies and leadership skills across the company.
  • Data and Reporting: Report to management and provide decision support through the use of HR metrics and data analysis to inform strategic decisions.
  • Policy Development: Develop, maintain, and enforce HR policies, procedures, and documentation, ensuring they are updated with industry best practices.

Key Skills

  • Strong leadership, negotiation, and presentation skills.
  • In-depth knowledge of labor law and HR best practices in India.
  • Competence in building and effectively managing interpersonal relationships at all organizational levels.
  • Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and data-informed decision-making skills.
  • Ability to handle confidential information with discretion and integrity.

Qualifications

  • Experience: At least 10-15 years of experience in HR leadership roles, with a proven track record of success in a technology or related industry.
  • Education: A Bachelor’s degree in Human Resources or a related field is required; an MBA in Human Resources is preferred.
